NYSSCPA's Twitter Feed Gets 500th Follower

The NYSSCPA's Twitter feed, initiated just over a year ago, has hit a milestone: it now has more than 500 followers.

These followers include CPA members, accounting firms, financial bloggers and other professionals who receive daily updates from the NYSSCPA via Twitter informing them of regulatory actions, breaking financial news, upcoming events, new proposed standards and other items of interest to those in the profession.

The NYSSCPA chose Twitter just over a year ago as one of a handful of cutting-edge conduits for providing value and information to its members and other CPAs practicing in New York state. The NYSSCPA also has a Facebook page and a LinkedIn group (registration required) that offer opportunities for education and networking.
